November 1st in the afternoon will be our second baby fair!
As speakers and plans are finalized we will keep you posted, but get those dates on your calendar now.
We apologize, because of a scheduling conflict at the building we’ve had to make a change and thus our announcement is last minute.
Denton County BirthNetwork is one year old! We’re celebrating our first year as a chapter and would love to have you join us. We’ll be meeting at the same time and place (7pm at the Denton North Branch Library) and still on a Monday, just in January instead of February.
Please RSVP on our Facebook event page so we can be sure to have enough refreshments.
We’ll also have a variety of baby carriers on hand and we’ll be hearing from some local parents on baby-wearing tips. Have you found your little one is happiest in your arms, but you need those arms free sometimes to accomplish things? Do you have an upcoming trip and you’re wondering about whether a stroller or carrier would be more convenient? Are you an expectant parent curious about what all these carriers are & which is best for you? or are you just wondering what the benefits of baby-wearing may be? Then come join us! We hope to see you there.
Don’t forget the Southwest Birth Round-Up is coming soon, so be sure to get your tickets. The line up of speakers is fantastic, and this is for birth professionals and parents! Registration is here!
Are you a new doula, doula in training, student doula, or just curious about the idea of becoming a doula someday? Then this meeting is for YOU! Come hear from a panel of four doula members and ask them all your questions – what’s it really like being on call, how do you handle childcare, what program options are out there, what do you pack in your bag, how do you handle missing holidays or special events with your family, what did you charge for your certifying births, and so much more.
As always we’ll be meeting in the community room of the Denton North Branch Library from 7pm to 8:30pm:
3020 N. Locust St.
Denton TX, 76209
This is our December 2nd meeting on Monday evening, and we hope to see you there. You can RSVP on our Facebook event page here. Questions? Email us at DentonCounty@birthnetwork.org
